The Residence - Mauritius

The Residence offers 4 varieties of suites and 3 room types all beautifully decorated with beige tones and a butler is assigned to each suite and room that will unpack and pack the luggage, run a bath, take care of the laundry and provide an ironing service.

Each of the rooms have stunning views over the luxurious tropical gardens, the ocean or are ocean front rooms. They all have king size or twin beds, air-conditioning, overhead fan, desk, living area, LCD TV Satellite TV, with 5 in-house movie channels and 5 music channels, DVD and CD player, Internet access, a fully stocked personal mini bar, tea and coffee facilities and a direct dial telephone with voice mail system. Every room has a large marble bathroom and is equipped with a bathtub and separate shower, hairdryer, sound system and a walk-in wardrobe with an electronic safe.

If you like the idea of staying in a suite, you really will be spoilt for choice with 4 different suite choices to choose from. You will have the choice of either Junior or Senior Garden View Suites or Colonial Sea View or Sea Front Suites. In addition to what the standard rooms have to offer, the suites offer large terraces furnished with elegant wooden chairs, table and sun beds and vast living rooms with computers and internet access. The grander suites offer a second bathroom and connect with the Ocean Front rooms to add a second bedroom to your suite.

This stunning resort prides itself on its fine cuisine and excellent service. There are 5 different locations where you may wish to dine. Locally sourced produce from the island is blended with a diversity of fine recipes from around the world offering a symphony of subtle aromas, tastes and colours that are featured on the menus in all restaurants.

The resort offers 3 flood lit tennis courts a state of the art gym with a steam room and a sauna and the Sanctuary Spa where guests are welcome to spoil themselves.

If you are travelling with your children, why not relax whilst your children are having fun with the friendly and efficient team who will supervise a wide range of activities. These activities include treasure hunts, snorkelling classes, sports competitions, face painting, hikes, picnics, glass-bottom boat tours, theme days, pony rides, and much more. In the evenings, there is also entertainment for the children ranging from fashion shows, plays, films, or activities related to the magic world of fairy tales. You will never have to worry about your children getting bored.

The residence offers a full programme of complimentary and non-complementary activities, including some of the best fishing and diving in Mauritius, Catamaran cruises, undersea walking and horse riding.
