Arrive from Nairobi at your comfortable accommodation for the next few nights: Mutamaiyu House.
The rugged plains and lush woodlands surrounding Mutamaiyu House are home to some of the richest diversities of wildlife on the continent, including the big five with the endangered black rhino.
After lunch you will go on your first game drive, followed by dinner and overnight at Mutamaiyu House.
Mutamaiyu House is a spectacularly refined retreat in one of Africa’s last great wilderness areas – the 49,000 acre Mugie Wildlife Conservancy in Laikipia.
Day 2 - Mutamaiyu House

Day 3 - Mutamaiyu House / Maasai Mara
After a hearty breakfast, fly to the luxurious Royal Mara Safari Lodge. The lodge is set on the banks of the Mara River in the richest game viewing section of the park.
Lunch, afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Royal Mara Safari Lodge. Possibly the most famous of the reserves, the Maasai Mara is arguably the greatest wildlife destination in Africa!
Royal Mara Safari Lodge has just eight large riverfront tented chalets built on raised mahogany platforms. Each providing close encounters with - yet safety from - the hippos, elephants and buffalos roaming through the Lodge at night in search of food and water.
The chalets at Royal Mara Safari Lodge have been individually decorated with artistically handcrafted furniture and open onto large verandas overlooking the breath-taking river scenery.

Day 6 - Maasai Mara / Nairobi
Breakfast, which may be taken near a pool watching resident hippos bobbing in the river or on the open savannah among grazing herds. Then transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi.
